Pages from your Librarian

Summer's almost here, and it's time for our Adult Summer Reading Program! The theme this year is "Exercise Your Mind, Read!" We all tend to move a little more, ride bikes a little more, swim a little more when the weather is nice but, let's not forget to keep our brain in shape as well! We have the perfect mind exercise...READ A BOOK!

Our program is easy! All you have to do is check out a book, audiobook , ebook or Book-On-CD. Once you are finished reading the book, grab a ticket. Put your name, contact info and the title of the book on the ticket and place it in the container marked with whatever prize you would like to try to win. This year the prizes will include: A FitBit, a yoga/fitness basket, a Samsung Galaxy 4 Tablet, and several area gift cards.

If you decide to "take the extra mile" and write a short review about a book you've read, you can receive an additional ticket for that book for an extra chance to win a prize!

The program runs from Saturday, June 11 through July 30th and you can participate in it at any of our branches.

Enjoy the summer and don't forget to exercise your mind @ the library!
