Pages from your Librarian
February is Love Your Library month at Elyria Public . Do you have a favorite book, author, or series that you love? Let the librarians know and they can help you discover read-alikes. Or you can use the NoveList K-8 Plus database avaliable through our website to discover new books that your family will love. Speaking of books we love the American Library Association Awarded the 2016 Newbery and Caldecott Medals for the best in children’s literature.

Our children's rooms are full of wonderous adventures waiting to be explored by your little ones. We want to help build the skills your child needs to be ready for school by working with them to develop early literacy and learning skills, such as talking, singing, reading, writing, and playing.
Stop in for a quiet area and large tables to get your homework completed. Use our online research tools.
Cards & Computers
The children's Room computers are just for kids! You'll need a student ID or library card to sign on. Don't have a library card? We have a Children's 3 for ME card for kids under 12.
