Lost Library Materials Policy
Purpose: To deﬁne the cost of library items.
Replacement Cost of the Lost Item: Approved sources will be used to determine the current replacement cost of the item. If a title is not found or is out of print, the patron will be charged according to the “Price List’ on ﬁle in the Director's ofﬁce.
Replacement Items: Replacement items for lost or damaged materials may be accepted at the discretion of the Library.
Receipt: When a patron pays for a lost item, the patron will be given a receipt.
Refunds: No refunds will be given after an item has been paid for.
