Ceramics at the Library

The fabulous Anne Jesse of the Elyria Arts Council will be in to instruct a two-part pottery program! 

This exciting program provides our patrons the opportunity to shape and glaze their own pop-up plates. 

 

8/1- Making Session - Registered participants will shape plates out of wet clay. 

8/15- Glazing Session - The participants from the making session will return to glaze their pieces from the making session. 

The finished glaze-fired pieces will be returned to the library, and participants will be notified to pick up their finished pieces.

There is a 2 week period between sessions (and after the 15th) for the pieces to be fired and cooled.
