INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1. Register | This year, we have three registration options.
- Option 1: Register online through Beanstack. Online registration opens now; however logging will not being until May 28. If you already have a Beanstack account, there is no need to create a new one. Just log in to your account, to join the "Adventure Begins at Your Library" Summer Reading Program.
- Option 2: Visit any EPL location to register in person.
- Option 3: Call any EPL location to register via phone.
Step 2. Track your Reading | The more you read, the more chances you have to win.
- Participants may track their reading via paper log which can be picked up at any EPL location.
- Participants of all ages may track their reading online via Beanstack, beginning May 28. Online participants will earn badges. The more you read, the more badges you will earn.
- Child and teen participants have set goals to complete their summer reading challenge.
- Littles ( 0 - 5) | Read 10 books.
- Children (6 - 12) | Read 10 hours.
- Teens (13 - 17) | Read 10 hours.
- Adults (18+) | Complete a book and library-themed Bingo card.
Step 3. Have Fun! | Relax and enjoy your summer with a good book in your hands. Remember to visit the library for reading materials along with special events through the summer. See our calendar of events.
PRIZES
Littles | Our youngest patrons can earn entries for the grand prizes.
- 10 Books | Earn a grand prize reading entry for:
- Toddler Balance Bike
- Imagination Playset
- Melissa & Doug Wooden Playset
- Art Easel
- Children can earn a maximum of 5 entries.
- Don't forget to register for the 1,000 Book Reading Challenge via Beanstack as well; we challenge you to read 1000 books before your little one begins Kindergarten!
Children | Kids can earn entries for the grand prizes.
- 10 Hours | Earn a grand prize reading entry for:
- Mystery Squishmallow
- Microscope
- Fort Building Kit
- Lego Friends Set, Dog Rescue Center
- Lego Star Wars Set, Luke Skywalker's X-Wing Fighter
- Children can earn a maximum of 5 entries.
Teens | Teens can earn entries for the grand prizes.
- 10 Hours | Earn a grand prize entry for:
- Dungeons & Dragons Essential Kit
- Bullet Journaling Bundle
- Mystery Squishmallow
- Lego Icons Set, Tiny Plants
- Woobles Crochet Kit
- Teens can earn a maximum of 5 entries.
Adults | Adults can earn entries for the grand prizes by earning a single bingo or full card bingo. A single bingo earns one ticket entry. A full card bingo earns five more ticket entries.
- BINGO | Earn a grand prize entry for:
- Air Fryer
- Kindle Fire 10
- Gardening Basket
- Gym Bundle
- Elyria-themed Basket
- LaGrange-themed Basket
- Adults can complete a maximum of one bingo card.
