Why should you garden at the library?
Well, you can learn a new skill, meet new people, and enjoy the outdoors! You can even take home fresh-picked produce!
As a special bonus, we will occasionally be visited by Master Gardeners who can teach us best practices for home gardening.
Dress for a mess and outdoor activity. Please bring a water bottle to stay hydrated and practice sun safety. It can get hot outside, especially if you are working hard.
This event is cancelled in cases of inclement weather. However, if you wish to visit the library and discuss gardening during scheduled Squad time, we will be happy to see you!
Final meeting date is October 28, 2024.
Registration is not required for this program, however newcomers will be asked to fill out a Garden Squad registration form and waiver before they participate in the program.
This program is intended for adults 18 years or older. We strictly adhere to our program age intentions. If you have any questions, please contact EPL.
Teens and children are welcome at this program as well, and will be asked to sign waivers.
